Change in receiving office for Family and Humanitarian Residence applications currently lodged at New Delhi Office

From 24 August 2015 the London Area Office will become the receiving and processing office for all new Family and Humanitarian Category residence applications lodged from clients within the New Delhi Market, and Mumbai Area Office catchment areas.

This will mean that from this date all Family and Humanitarian Category residence applications from clients in Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Nepal and Sri Lanka should now be sent to the London VAC for lodgement.

Clients who have submitted expressions of interest under the Family Parent Tier 1 & 2 categories will be advised of this change in their Invitation to Apply Letters.

All applications lodged in the New Delhi Market Office under either the previous Parent category instructions, or the Sibling and Adult Child category that have not yet been allocated to an Immigration Officer and are not currently in-flow will be transferred to Bangkok Office for future processing.

The London Area Office has recently recruited for Immigration Officers and will be sufficiently resourced to manage this work. It is not anticipated that timeliness will be impacted by this change.
