You can ask for a copy of the information we hold about you and have it corrected if it is wrong.

Complete the appropriate form to ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, which includes arrival and departure records. You can also ask for someone else’s information if they have given you permission to do so.

Make sure you include as much information as possible about what you need.

Requests can take up to 20 working days to process.

How to request a change to your NZeTA

After your NZeTA is approved, you can only correct some of the details such as your:

  • passport number — for example, if you had to replace your passport
  • email address, or
  • small spelling mistakes or numerical errors.
Alert

If you are changing your name or passport number you need to request the changes 10 days before you travel. If you want to change your nationality on your passport you will need to submit a new NZeTA request.
