Process for Peruvians travelling to New Zealand for the FIFA World Cup – Intercontinental Playoff Monday, 16 October 2017

New Zealand will be playing against Peru for the FIFA World Cup – Intercontinental Playoff on 11 November 2017. Immigration New Zealand is anticipating that a lot of Peruvians will be travelling to New Zealand to support their national team.

Peruvians who want to come to New Zealand for the FIFA World Cup – Intercontinental Playoff must apply for a visitor visa before travelling. Immigration New Zealand has a process in place to ensure that visa applications for this event can be processed as quickly as possible. The requirement to submit the physical passport to the relevant processing office is being waived for those who apply for their visas online so they can get the decisions on their visa application in time to travel to New Zealand for the playoff. The streamlined process will be in place until the day of the match only.
