2015 Pacific ballots drawn today Friday, 5 June 2015

The Immigration New Zealand (INZ) Samoan Quota and Pacific Access Category will be drawn by ballot today.

A total of 1,100 places are available under the Samoan Quota for Samoan nationals. Another 650 places are available under the Pacific Access Category for nationals from Tonga (250), Fiji (250), Tuvalu (75) and Kiribati (75).

INZ’s Assistant General Manager, Geoff Scott, says just over 22,000 registration applications were received this year under the Samoan Quota and Pacific Access Category.

INZ will only contact those who are successful in the ballot draws and only successful ballot registration numbers will be listed.

The ballot results will be announced by 12 June 2015.

Those successful from the ballot will have until 4.00pm on Monday 7 March 2016 to complete and lodge their formal residence visa applications.
