Suva branch opening hours

We are open to the public for all services from 9am to 3pm Monday to Friday.

We have limited space in our reception area, so only allow 3 waves of 30 people per wave. The times of each group will be 9am, 11am and 1pm. On arrival at the reserve bank building each client will be given a colour coded ticket, these relate to the timings for each group. If you arrive to find that you can not be accommodated immediately you will be given a ticket for the next group. We hope that this will give you confidence that you will be seen that day, but will also allow you the opportunity to do other things with your time rather than simply waiting outside the building.

Also please note that we actively encourage people with completed applications to drop in the secure drop box at  reception, or to use mail or courier.  The processing times are exactly the same, and no queuing.

Telephone hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm (Ph 3306033)

General enquiries for temporary applications should be sent by email to nzissuva@dol.govt.nz. The timeframe for response is two working days.

We also offer our clients an after hours service for genuine emergencies ONLY (ie funerals, and other compassionate cases during holidays and the weekends). Please check our office and fee finder as an urgent/call out fee is applicable. For any emergency visas you can contact +67 9 992 2320.
