Online Expression of Interest

There are two steps to an SMC application:

You complete an Expression of Interest, telling us about yourself, your family, your skills and your experience.
If you have enough points, we accept your Expression of Interest, and send you an Invitation to Apply. You complete it, and return it to us with your supporting documents.

To complete an Expression of Interest (EOI) form online - an option you'll find is fast and convenient - you need to register and log into our web site.

Registering will allow you to complete an EOI form and save it, so you can come back to it later, or submit it to us for consideration in the EOI Pool. And as a registered user you'll be able to keep track of the progress of your EOI.

You'll find registering also allows you to access other useful services too. You'll be able to compile your own information kit and choose topics that you'd like us to keep you updated on.

The registration process does ask you to provide some personal information - but you get to decide how much!
