SM4.25 Migrant levy

Principal applicants approved-in-principle under the Skilled Migrant Category must pay a Migrant Levy (see R5.90) when:

1. their application is approved-in-principle, unless:
2. the Levy has been paid prior to the principal applicant being issued with a work visa or work permit for the purpose of obtaining an offer of skilled employment in New Zealand.
