WJ2.5 Sound financial position evidential requirements (17/12/2012)

Evidence that an employer or NZCP is in a sound financial position includes, but is not limited to:

  1. a statement from a chartered accountant confirming the business is financially sound and is able to meet all outstanding obligations;
  2. an authenticated set of accounts showing a sound financial position;
  3. annual reports;
  4. business plan.

Note: Where a NZCP is requesting an AIP, the evidence must demonstrate that they are in a position to meet their obligations under the Deed of Guarantee of Financial Obligations in Respect of Foreign Crew (INZ 1211).
