Note: Award certificates must be provided in their original language for all qualifications. The award certificates from the National University of Ireland and the University of Dublin are issued in Latin. English translations are also issued by these universities. The original award certificate and a translated copy issued by the University should be provided. Other institutions’ award certificates are issued in English, or in English and Irish.
- All honorary degrees must be referred to the NZQA for an International Qualification Assessment.
- If any courses leading to the award of one of the qualifications listed above were taken outside of Ireland, including courses which have been cross-credited towards the listed qualifications please refer to the NZQA for an International Qualification Assessment.
- All qualifications awarded after 2011 should be referred to NZQA for an International Qualification Assessment unless an awarding date after 2011 is specifically listed.
- The award certificates for Bachelor degrees with Honours will state either ‘Honours’, ‘with Honours’, or the class of Honours, for example ‘First Class Honours’.
