While certified copies of the biography pages of your passport are sufficient to send with your application, you will eventually need to send your actual passport/s to a visa officer. Visas are labels which are put on a page in your passport. For security, it is recommended that you use a courier to send the passport, rather than the general mail. You will also need to include a return paid courier pack for the return of your passports.
