Rayglass Boats

Rayglass

Still privately owned by Tony and Vicki Hembrow, Rayglass Boats were the official referee and support boats of choice for the majority of syndicates involved in the 2002/03 America’s Cup race held in New Zealand. Now a $20 million+ company, the beginnings were humble.

Tony discovered his love of boats while building his own. He never borrowed money and regularly faced challenges and setbacks which threatened the business. From one boat a month in 1988, Rayglass now produces a boat a day for the national and international market.
