Work
There are four main entry options available to people who wish to come to New Zealand to live and work.
• Skilled Migrant
If you’re suitably qualified and experienced, this option allows you to make an enormous contribution to an innovative and responsive New Zealand workforce.
• Work to Residence
If you work in a highly specialised or ‘in demand’ field or have an exceptional talent in sport, culture or the arts, this entry option could be for you.
• Temporary Work Visa
A perfect option if you’d like to work here for a particular event, have a job offer from a New Zealand employer or would just like to gain some work experience.
• Working Holiday
If you’re aged between 18 and 30 and come from one of 23 countries (inc. the UK and USA), this option allows you to travel around New Zealand and take up temporary work.
