The Bluff Oyster & Southland Seafood Festival is an annual celebration of the succulent seafood unique to Southland. Held amid a day of non-stop entertainment, the festival is a chance to devour famous, fresh Bluff ooysterysters, savour succulent seafood and cuisine, and wash it all down with leading local beverages.
Dance the night away at the Southern Seas Ball the night before and be entertained all day long with oyster opening and eating competitions, the oyster sack fashion parade and chef cook-off.
