S1.1 Pitcairn Islanders

See S1.1 Effective 26/07/1999

  1. Pitcairn Islanders are considered for residence under a special policy because New Zealand recognises that there are few employment opportunities on Pitcairn Island.
  2. Pitcairn Islanders must be approved for residence if they:
    1. apply in the prescribed manner (see R2.35 - R2.45), and
    2. meet health and character requirements (see R4), and
    3. have an offer of employment in New Zealand that meets the requirements of SM7.15.
