U7.15 Revocation of a student permit

Immigration Regulations 1999 reg 22

1. A student permit holder who breaches any of the conditions of their permit (in particular those relating to attendance, employment, and living with their legal guardian*) is liable:
   1. to have the permit revoked, and
   2. to be required to leave or be removed from New Zealand.
2. Where the student is required to live with a legal guardian* (see U3.30), and the permit of that legal guardian* is revoked, the permit of the student will also be revoked.
