BC4.5 Requirements for a business plan

Business plans must:

  1. be no more than 3 months old on the date the application is made*; and
  2. include satisfactory evidence that the principal applicant* has access to sufficient capital to finance their business proposal; and
  3. include realistic financial forecasts; and
  4. include evidence to satisfy a business immigration specialist that the principal applicant* has business experience that is relevant to their business proposal; and
  5. demonstrate to the satisfaction of a business immigration specialist the principal applicant's* knowledge about the proposed business and the New Zealand business environment; and
  6. include information about how the proposed business will benefit New Zealand; and
  7. include sufficient supporting documentation (including the documentation listed from section C of the business plan form onwards).
