D8.1 Powers to revoke temporary permits

Immigration Act 1987 ss 32, 33,

  1. The Immigration Act 1987 provides for a temporary permit to be revoked if any such permit is granted as the result of an administrative error (see E3.5.45, Y5).
  2. A temporary permit may also be revoked for any other good reason as the Immigration Act 1987 does not specify any particular grounds for revocation of a temporary permit. Revocation of a temporary permit is most likely to take place if the holder breaches any conditions of their permit (see E3.5.50, U7.15).

Effective 01/10/1999
