A10.10 Procedures relating to correspondence from the Privacy Commissioner

  1. The NZIS Privacy Officer is responsible for answering most correspondence from the Office of the Privacy Commissioner about complaints made under the Privacy Act 1993.
  2. Any other office approached about a case that is the subject of an Privacy Commissioner's investigation must refer details to the NZIS Privacy Officer, National Office, who independently reviews the issues and sends a report to the Privacy Commissioner.
