A8.10 Who may make a request under the Official Information Act

Official Information Act 1982 s 12

Requests for official information may only be made by:

1. a New Zealand citizen, or
2. a permanent resident of New Zealand, or
3. a person who is currently in New Zealand.
4. a body corporate incorporated in New Zealand.
5. a body corporate incorporated outside New Zealand that has a place of business in New Zealand.
