Before you can apply for a variation of conditions under this category, the Ministry of Social Development must have declared a seasonal labour shortage. You can only work in region(s) where a labour shortage has been declared.
The Ministry of Social Development has declared a labour shortage in Central Otago from 05 January 2016 to 15 February 2016.
The following must be submitted when applying for a variation of conditions:
Applicants must be on a valid visitor visa (any category) which does not expire until after the six-week period.
Applications may be submitted at any office of Immigration New Zealand.
