Community directories

New Zealand’s main regional councils produce local community directories. You can use the directories to find contact details and background information for a wide range of local community organisations.

These include sports clubs, ethnic associations, cultural, religious health and welfare groups and numerous recreational clubs and associations.

Each main centre has different systems for storing and accessing this information. So we’ve provided you with information relevant to each area:

  • Auckland

  • Christchurch

  • Dunedin

  • Hamilton

  • Invercargill

  • New Plymouth

  • Tauranga

  • Wellington

  • Other locations
