I’ve lost my passport.  What should I do?

You need to contact the New Zealand Police so they can prepare a police report, which provides you with evidence of what happened to your passport.  You also need to contact your country’s embassy or high commission in New Zealand to take the steps needed to get a replacement passport.  If your visa is likely to expire before you get your replacement, please contact us.
