I’ve lost my passport.  What should I do?

You need to contact your country’s embassy or high commission in New Zealand to take the steps needed to get a replacement passport.  You also need to contact us so we can put a note on your immigration record.  You need to do this as soon as possible, but especially if your visa is due to expire.
