Reports from LisNZ

The project will span the period from 1999 to 2010, and information from the survey will be progressively available from 2004.

Reporting from the survey data will include analysis of the pilot findings, and each wave of the main survey. In addition, there will be specialist topic reports discussing in more detail core outputs such as participation in the labour market or use of government services. Therefore, each wave of survey interviews will provide successively richer data. While the results from the pilot survey are not generalisable to all migrants, they provide a valuable addition to existing information sources.

Specific research reports will be developed to shed light on particular policy issues of concern, and there will also be significant opportunities for theoretical, methodological and empirical research to be published in academic journals. Where possible, comparisons will be made with other data sources such as the Census and the Household Labour Force Survey.
