9.  Will all applications submitted by licensed immigration advisers eventually be processed in the Henderson Branch?

The highest percentage of applications from licensed immigration advisers are in the Auckland region, so we are concentrating on processing these applications in the Henderson Branch first.  This will be in two stages.

  • Stage 1 will see Auckland Residence Applications submitted by licensed immigration advisers processed at the Henderson Branch.
  • Stage 2 will see both Auckland Temporary and Residence applications submitted by licensed immigration advisers processed at the Henderson Branch.

We will monitor the success of these stages before making any further decisions.

10. Which applications from licensed immigration advisers will be processed at the Henderson Branch?

The licensed immigration advisers who will have their applications processed at the Henderson Branch are:

13. Will applicants who use an immigration adviser get better services and outcomes from Immigration New Zealand?

We are not changing how we process applications. We’re only changing where we process them.  Because immigration advisers have ongoing business with Immigration New Zealand, these changes will enable us to give a more consistent, cohesive and responsive service.

14. Where should immigration advisers send their applications?

There is no change to where an immigration adviser sends their applications.  They should continue to send their applications to where they do now and they will be allocated as appropriate to the Henderson Branch.
