Silver Fern Job Search Quota re-opens 10.00am on 27 April

Thursday, 21 April 2011

The annual Silver Fern Job Search Quota opens will be opening on Wednesday 27 April at 10.00am, and demand for places is likely to be high.

The Silver Fern Job Search Visa is designed to give highly qualified young people the chance to come to New Zealand to look for a skilled job. There is a quota of 300 places annually available to people of all nationalities aged 20 to 35. Applications must be made using our online application system. Last year the quota filled within half an hour, so if you are interested in applying you should make sure you understand the requirements to be granted a visa before the quota opens.

Successful Silver Fern Job Search applicants will be granted a nine-month work visa allowing them to work for any employer in New Zealand. If they obtain skilled work, they can progress to the two-year Silver Fern Practical Experience work visa.

For more information, see the Silver Fern pages.
