INZ signs MoU with Education New Zealand

Tuesday, May 08, 2012

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between Immigration New Zealand (INZ) and Education New Zealand (ENZ) on 24 April 2012 will strengthen the framework of the New Zealand Specialist Agents (NZSA) programme and create a number of benefits for New Zealand’s export education industry.

The MoU formalises the partnership between INZ and ENZ in respect of the NZSA programme and covers three key areas:

  1. processing times for student visa applications submitted by NZSA members
  2. providing a dedicated point of contact within INZ branches for NZSA members
  3. increased INZ involvement on any immigration issues that may arise with NZSA members.
