Changes to health requirements for some visa applicants, partners and dependent children

Friday, 18 November 2011
Changes have been made to some of the health requirements for both partners and dependent children of residents, and for pregnant temporary entrants to New Zealand.

The changes to immigration instructions come into effect on 21 November. They result from the review of immigration health screening recently agreed to by Cabinet. Further information is available in Amendment Circular 2011-19 PDF [105KB].

We have also provided some questions and answers on the changes.
