VisaView system issues

Thursday, May 17, 2012

There have been some system issues with VisaView lately, and this has been impacting negatively on a number of employers.

We have identified a problem that occurred following some recent system changes and we’re working on a solution. We should be able to confirm a timeframe for resolution of the issues early next week.

VisaView was designed to help employers comply with their obligations under the Immigration Act, and we’re extremely disappointed that system issues are currently causing problems for employers.

Until the system issues have been resolved, we encourage employers to follow the guidance in the Best Practice Guide for Employers, particularly the list of documents that can be accepted as evidence of entitlement to work in New Zealand.

  • Queries about the Visaview system can be sent to Visaview@dol.govt.nz.
  • See the VisaView pages.
