MCIMA/SCIMA (Australian Ministerial Council on Immigration and Multicultural Affairs). New Zealand has observer status at the biannual MCIMA meetings. Participation in these meetings contributes to strengthening the bilateral relationship and linkages with DIMIA, the Australian immigration service, at immigration policy level.
