Bali Process on People Smuggling, Trafficking in Persons and Related Transnational Crime
Bali Process on People Smuggling, Trafficking in Persons and Related Transnational Crime is a multilateral initiative launched in 2002 aimed at combating people smuggling, trafficking and related transnational crime in the Middle East, Asia, and Pacific regions. While the Bali Process has built on existing bilateral co-operation, its success is due to its active involvement of Ministers and law enforcement agencies from 42 countries, in addition to a sharp focus on the issues it addresses.
