Facilitating migration to New Zealand

Immigration New Zealand (INZ) relies on the valuable work of many corporations, companies and individuals to assist us in helping migrants to New Zealand. These pages are a central source of information for the industries and individuals who facilitate entry to New Zealand.

Information for airlines

INZ works with airlines throughout the world to protect the security of our borders. The information for airlines pages provide resources, guidelines and useful links to help carriers in dealing with passengers departing and entering New Zealand, and in dealing with Immigration New Zealand.

Information for medical professionals

Panel doctors and radiologists can find forms and guides used in immigration medical examinations, guidelines for conducting immigration medical examinations, and more in our pages for medical professionals.

Approved arts and music festivals

Performers and direct support staff attending an ‘approved’ arts or music festival will be able to enter New Zealand as visitors, without having to apply for a work visa.

For an arts or music festival to become ‘approved’, its organisers will have to submit a proposal to INZ demonstrating that:

  • their festival is well established, and
  • they intend to bring in at least 10 international performers and/or direct support staff.

The requirements can be found in the Checklist for Arts and Music Festival Approval Status PDF [334KB].
