Employing overseas workers in the arts, culture or sports
An organisation may be eligible to employ a sports person, an artist, or an arts or cultural performer of international repute, under our Work to Residence, Talent (Arts, Culture and Sports) work category.
To be able to bring such a person here the employer needs to be a New Zealand organisation of national repute - that is, an organisation which has a reputation for excellence, or fostering exceptional talent, in its field of arts, culture or sports. Find out what our requirements are for sponsor organisations.
And the prospective employee will also need to meet a range of requirements.
If both the employer and prospective employee meet our requirements, the employee can apply for a Work Permit under our Work to Residence, Talent (Arts, Culture and Sports) work category.
