How quickly can you expect us to make a decision on your application?
If you supply us with ALL the documents that we ask for, for most nationalities, you can expect us to meet the following timeliness standards at our Sydney branch office:

10 working days
Visitor visa
7 working days
Student visa
2-4 weeks
Work visa
Up to 4 weeks
Transit visa
5 working days
Please note that if applications require verification or further information then they will take longer than the stated processing times.
Remember to include all the documentation, fees, and photographs listed on the application form. If we do not receive these, your application will not be able to be completed.
All requests for urgent visas must be put in writing, and will be decided on a case-by-case basis.
