Lodging your application

Service fees

Note: From 12 March 2012 a service fee of 500 pesos (PHP) per application must be paid when lodging your application at the Visa Information and Application (VIA) Center, in addition to application fees and courier fees (see below).

How to pay the fees

For applications submitted before 12 March 2012: The application fee must be paid by bank draft or manager’s cheque made payable to “New Zealand Immigration Service”.

 

For applications submitted on or after 12 March 2012: The application fee and a service fee of 500 Pesos (PHP) and any applicable courier fee (see below) must be paid by bank draft or manager’s cheque made payable to “PIASI”.

 

We do not accept cash or credit card payments. Please call (2) 845-9222 to confirm how to pay the fee.

 

You can request your application to be collected by courier from anywhere in the Philippines by calling (2) 845-9222. You will be charged a return courier fee to collect the passport and have it returned to you after processing (see below). Please do not include the courier fees in your bank draft or manager's cheque. Courier fees must be paid in cash upon collection of your documents.

Manila Call Center and Visa Information and Application (VIA) Center

Note: INZ Manila is not open to the general public. We do not accept walk-in enquiries, or application drop-offs etc.

 

Applications can be lodged in person at the VIA Center in Makati:

Cebu VIA Center

The Cebu Visa Information and Application Center (VIAC) is open to applicants in Cebu and the Visayas to lodge their applications in person.

Office hours

Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:30pm (cut-off time for lodging applications is 3:00pm)
Saturday 8:00am to 12 noon.

You will need to pay a courier fee to have your passport returned.  The courier fees are outlined below:

*applies when there is more than one passport associated with the application being returned to the same address.

 

For applications submitted before 12 March 2012, please prepare separate payment for courier/postage fee in the form of either cash or cheque payable to PIASI for those applications with direct lodgements through the VIA Center.

 

For applications submitted on or after 12 March 2012, courier fees can be included in the bank draft made payable to “PIASI” that also includes the application fee and service fee.

 

A service fee of Php 50.00 is payable each time for any additional documents submitted to either the Manila or Cebu VIA Centers after the initial lodgement of the application. For courier pickup of additional documents, ordered through the Call Centre, the fee is Php 175 which must be paid in cash upon collection.

Lodging applications from New Zealand

You can courier applications directly to the VIA Center Manila only (not VIA Center Cebu). You need to indicate how and where you want the documents returned, either to the applicant in the Philippines or to the representative in New Zealand. If we return the documents to the applicant in the Philippines, the applicant needs to pay the one-way rates as above. The applicant can pay collect. If you would like us to return the documents to New Zealand, please provide a prepaid courier.

 

It is possible to get a bank cheque in New Zealand issued in Philippine pesos.  Currently only Westpac banks offer this service.
