Immigration advisers must be licensed from 4 May 2010

From 4 May 2010 all immigration advisers, whether in New Zealand or outside New Zealand, must be licensed by the Immigration Advisers Authority to provide New Zealand immigration advice (unless they are exempt).

As of 1 November 2009, Philippine passport holders do not require a transit visa for New Zealand should they be remaining in the airport terminal for less than 24 hours in order to board a flight to onward destinations.
