General enquiries

Auckland region branches do not provide a general enquiry service. Either contact our National Contact Centre, or take a look at our online help service. It has a number of frequently asked questions that you can search.

The National Call centre is open 7am-7pm, Monday to Friday. If English is not your first language we may have an interpreter to assist you – ask for the Language Line. The phone numbers are:

  • +64 9 914 4100 (free call within the Auckland region)
  • 0508 55 88 55 (outside the Auckland region, but within New Zealand).

Lodging your application at a branch

Auckland region branches are located in Central Auckland, Henderson and Manukau. These branches will process some types of application for you in one day if you go to the branch without an appointment. This same day counter service is only available for applications for:

  • returning resident’s visas
  • confirmations of permit conditions
  • replacement labels (transfer of returning resident’s visa from old passports into new passports, correction of data entry errors)
  • urgent travel (within seven days) – evidence of travel is required.

The branches' addresses are at the bottom of this page.
