The Singapore branch is the receiving office for visa applications for visitor, work, student, transit, label transfers, permanent resident visa/resident visa renewal applications and resident applications for partnership, dependent children and parent categories from citizens of Singapore, Malaysia, Brunei, Maldives, Seychelles and Afghanistan.
For non-citizens, you must hold a valid long-term pass (such as IC, work, study, long-term visit pass) from and residing in these countries to lodge your application at our office.
If you are none of the above, please see our office and fees calculator to find out where to send your application.
We do not accept and process applications for other resident categories including Skilled Migrant Category (SMC) and are unable to provide advice and information to your enquiries pertaining to it.
Languages spoken by staff at the Singapore branch include English, Mandarin, Hindi and Telugu and Chinese dialects Cantonese, Hokkien, and Teochew.
Important note on label transfers: Label transfer applications will need to be submitted to the New Zealand Visa Application Centre (VAC). Applications will not be processed on the same day, even if applied for in person at the VAC. Label transfers will take three working days to process provided all documents are in order. You will also need to submit an application form. Please refer to the checklist for Label Transfer or New Zealand Citizen Endorsement for more information.
