We do not offer a same-day processing service at this branch and priority processing is only offered in the event of an emergency.
We actively work through all visa applications as we receive them. This means that as a general rule, we do not allow queue-jumping however, we do accept that some times extenuating circumstances exist. We do expect that you will lodge your application in plenty of time prior to your travel dates. Please be assured that we do everything we can to enable a timely decision on your application.
If your application includes full and accurate documentation and there are no complications arising, such as health referrals or character issues, we will decide your application within three working weeks. Please note that if applications require verification or further information then they will take longer than the time stated above. Remember to include all the documentation requested including the correct fee, photographs and completed sponsorship forms where necessary.
Where we cannot process applications within this time frame, we will let you know provided you have supplied us with your email address or phone number.
The months of October – December are particularly busy and it is not normally possible for us to meet the 15-day processing time frame during this period. We strongly suggest that if you plan to travel to New Zealand during the October – December period, it is in your best interests to be proactive and plan well in advance. We strongly recommend that you allow six weeks processing time as the branch normally receives double the number of applications to process for the peak holiday travel season.
We will receipt all applications and lodge them into our computer system within 24 hours.
