Moscow branch processing times

The graph Moscow branch processing times JPG shows the percentages of temporary visas processed within the below timeframes between 1 July 2008 to 31 December 2008.

Overall, we made a total of 2442 temporary visa decisions for this period. Of these decisions, 95.5 percent were approvals.

The majority of temporary visas can be processed in less than 14 working days. Any applications requiring additional information, verification, or interview, or those involving the determination of a relationship, can take longer. Applications received during peak periods, eg Christmas, may also take longer.

An application for a visa for urgent travel will take at least seven working days to process.

Family residence visas are usually decided within nine to 12 months.

One factor that impacts on processing time is the number of enquiries we receive about applications that have not yet been lodged with INZ. Please check that an application has been lodged before making an enquiry with us.

The graph Moscow branch peak processing times JPG demonstrates increased volumes and indicates our peak times for processing. Applications should be lodged early during peak periods to allow for a longer processing time.
