Welcome to Immigration New Zealand Hong Kong

Hong Kong branch employs 13 staff, divided into three teams – Express team, Review team, and support team. Details for each team are listed under staff contacts on the contact details page.

 

This branch is responsible for processing visas in the following regions.

  • Hong Kong and Macau residents – both temporary entry class and residence class visa applications (except Skilled and Business Migration categories)
  • Taiwan – family residence applications
  • All temporary entry class visa applications from Guangxi, Guangdong, and Hainan provinces. Resident visa applications from these three provinces should be lodged with the Beijing branch.

In addition, the Hong Kong branch oversees temporary entry class visa services and process residence applications under Family Category provided through the New Zealand embassies in Tokyo, Japan and Seoul, South Korea.

 

The following languages are spoken by the staff at Hong Kong branch.

VFS Global Services (VFS) has been appointed by Immigration New Zealand (INZ) as a collection agent for visa applications with effect from 12 August in Shanghai and from 17 October 2011 for Beijing, Guangzhou and Hong Kong.
