Welcome to Dubai branch

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) office of Immigration New Zealand is located in Dubai.

The Dubai branch now receives applications for permanent migration (family categories), visitor, work, and student visas from the following countries.

  • Algeria
  • Bahrain
  • Egypt
  • Iran
  • Jordan
  • Kuwait
  • Lebanon
  • Libya
  • Morocco
  • Oman
  • Pakistan
  • Qatar
  • Saudi Arabia
  • Syria
  • Tunisia
  • Turkey (except visitor, transit and student visas, which are processed in Ankara)
  • UAE
  • Yemen

Residents of the countries above who wish to apply for a visa to live in New Zealand under our business or skilled migrant categories will need to lodge their application with our London branch.

If you are travelling on a passport from Bahrain, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, or UAE you can visit New Zealand for three months without a visa. However, you will need to apply for a visa if you want to work or study in New Zealand.

Due to the high volume of applications, we recommend you lodge your application early to help ensure it is processed in time for your planned travel. You should not make irreversible travel plans before having your visa issued. Any bookings made are made at the risk of the applicant.
