The Christchurch Branch is predominantly responsible for the Canterbury/Upper South Island market. The region is an attractive destination for both visitors and migrants.
If you are applying for a visitor permit, work permit or returning resident’s visa and reside in Canterbury, Nelson, Marlborough or the West Coast, please send your application directly to our branch.
If you are applying for a residence permit and you live anywhere in the South Island, please send your application directly to our branch.
In addition to temporary entry & residence policies, also situated in our branch are staff members who deal specifically with Joint Venture Fishing and APEC Business Cards.
The Christchurch Branch currently has a staff of approximately 55. The four teams operating within the branch specialise in:
- Residence Family Team
- Skilled Migrant Team
- Customer Service Team inclusive of Visitor Permits & Returning Resident’s Visas
- Work Permit Team
