The Bangkok branch is a regional processing centre for applications from many countries in South East Asia and the Middle East. Staff from the branch oversee visa services provided by the New Zealand Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, and in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Staff process applications from the following countries.
Temporary entry (student, visitor, work) applications
Cambodia, Israel, Pakistan, Laos, Thailand, Iraq, and Myanmar.
Residence applications
Bahrain, Laos, Saudi Arabia, Cambodia, Lebanon, Singapore, Egypt, Myanmar, Syria, Oman, Thailand, Iraq, Pakistan, United Arab Emirates, Israel, Philippines, Vietnam, Jordan, Qatar, Yemen, and Kuwait.
