Emergency  numbers

In an emergency dial 111. This connects you to the police, ambulance and fire service.

You’ll find contact numbers for Civil Defence in the front of the telephone books. Civil Defence is the organisation that coordinates help and rescue services if there’s an emergency such as flooding, earthquakes, or storm damage.

All hotels and public buildings must also display public notices about emergency and evacuation procedures.
